How are these wires routed on these setups versus the old setups? On my car, I see that the wire that goes to the battery crosses the radiator. Coudln't I just shorten this wire considerably and run it right to the alternator once it's moved to the driver's side? The other wires seem more explanatory, as they likely would just go through the engine harness that crosses on the back side of the engine. This applies to TPI cars, if that is relevant.

 

How is the alternator wire routed?

 

On my 91 GTA it was routed straight from the battery to the alternator through a weatherpack connector. Pretty straight shot.
