Alright guys, I'm brand new to the forum and to my car. I purchased her a couple months back and I couldn't be happier, although I just can't get her to turn on.

I have an 85 Camaro Z28 with all the performance features of an IROC-Z and an upgraded motor -- 93 LT1 350 refurbished and bored out to a 6.2L with an 11:1 compression.

The problem started a few weeks ago when I dripped oil onto the starter, last time I add oil in the dark. The starter wouldn't turn, I figured it got onto the connectors and broke the connection. Eventually it would click. Well, I disconnect the battery, take out the starter to clean it off and upon putting her back in, this is a couple days later, I go to turn the key and there's NOTHING. No door lights, no dash, no fan, the car is completely dead. I figured I fried something from trying to start her so much. I checked the battery and it's not dead. I took a test light and there's power going to the starter and the alternator. I also opened up the starter relay and found if I manually press the down the relay plate the fan turns on. Not sure what that means other than I made power go to the fan. Also, I checked every fuse in the fuse box under the dash and everything is fine. With my limited experience not sure where to start trouble shooting other than to get an electrical diagram, learn how to read it, and start testing power. If anyone has any input it would be greatly appreciated.
