starter problem
hey guys, im in the middle of swapping my L03 to an L31, and i have the engine and trans mated outside the car
my problem is that the inboard starter bolt won't go into the l31 properly. it's a rebuilt motor, and i'm just using my old starter, which has inline bolts

You need a different starter that fits the bolt pattern for L31 engine.
Go buy one for 1996-1999 GM truck. Then return your OEM one for the core return.
