Headlight Dimmer Switch adjustment
Headlight Dimmer Switch adjustment
Here is the switch under the dash..at 12 o'clock you see the rusty end of the rod and sure enought it doesnt engage the switch enough to activate. The problem is i cant seem to find the screws or bolts that hold it in place to adjust it. Can someone point me in the right direction.

Thanks

91 RS B4C

Re: Headlight Dimmer Switch adjustment
They are up on the top of the bracket holding it on. It is a pain in the ********* to adjust, but it is doable. What I did was remove the four bolts on the bracket holding the steering column up. You can then lower the entire steering column. Then I reached down the length of the steering column to get to them. There are two small 7mm bolts holding it on. The rear one is really difficult to get leverage on.
Once you get to it, you only need to loosen them up to adjust the switch. Good luck. You are going to get very frustrated, but be patient. It can be done.
