Rescuing 91 bird/break lights please any advice!!!!!
Ok the story is I spotted the ttops over the grass from a tractor luckily 10 feet in the air. 5-6 foot of thicket grown up around the car.long story short I begged the owner to sell it I fell in love. Fuel pump went out in it in 2000 and it sat since then. :.( It took 3 hours to clear a path for a wrecker got it home pressure washed it and stripped the interior. Unfortunately nothing left for floorpans but I can fix that.after rigging spare sending unit in external take replaced the injectors from SouthBayfuelinjection and it fired up first try with a smidge of starter fluid before hand. Still knowing it ran I am swapping in a rebuilt 305 sbc mild cam, edlebrock intake and 650 4bdp. Not sure which trans yet. HOPING BYPASSING ECM WILL COME EASY SINCE SWAPING A CARBED Engine
My problem lies in my brake lights! !!!!!!!!!! (Obviously have to replace break booster after 15 years but...)When I hit the brakes the brake lights don't turn on. When I turn the vehicle lights on the break lights are constantly on. Why is this how do I wire my brake light to work once I get it going. Mind you I'm 22 years old as you can imagine have a budget. What can I do without stripping a harness

I want a carbed engine for a reason man. And the 3.1 that was in it still runs strong. Its set aside for a trail buggy project me and my boss are playing with. My problem is I have extensive water damage under the ttop section so wandering if its something stupid like a couple of bad grounds...
Not being a smart-***...but some of this cars systems are a little more complex than they were 20 years prior. If you are serious about restoring this car, and keeping it a while, you will find a factory service manual invaluable. Not into paper? There are CD copies for sale as well.
