fuel pump failure HELLLLP
ive got a 1990 rs 305 tbi the fuel pump wouldnt prime now the only way the car stays running is if i feather the throttle and it will run with carb cleaner i bench tested the pump and it had a little pressure maybe 9 psi any ideas

Sounds kinda low
Try bench testing a NEW pump under the same conditions for comparison

thank you im gonna repalce the pump the sender and filter god only knows what f...tard did it last time i found a cracked and kinked hard line off the filter so its been replaced with a racing filter and high pressure rubber
