very odd turn signal issue
very odd turn signal issue
First off thank you for allowing me back after many years of being away, was 85 cam originally but cant recall that password.....
Anyway new to me 92rs, was a 3.1 car now swapped over to a common sbc. my issue is that of the front drivers side turn signal
when the 4 ways are on all the correct lights blink except for the front drivers side and left turn indicator in the cluster. rear blinks and all the front passenger side.
turn the stalk to left hand turn, rear blinks as it should but the front does not, also no indicator in the dash. No marker blink nor big 2057 bulb under the headlight
Have swapped around bulbs to no avail. Any common places to look for lost signal?

Check the wiring diagrams to see if you can trace the wires to find a break. Austinthirdgen.org has all the wiring diagrams for your car. HTH!

Re: very odd turn signal issue
Looked at the drawings and see that the turn/hazard switch is the common point. Do a continuity test between the switch and the turn signal bulb to be sure the wiring is intact before you replace the switch. GL!

Re: very odd turn signal issue
Maybe try splicing another ground into the drivers side turn signal and ground it somewhere and see if that helps.
