1991 ford hatch back...new cigarette lighter and new mirror switch doesn t work

New parts that don't work,..... sounds about right for a Ford.

i dont know much about fords but my car had a similar problem, check your fuses, my auxillory circuit blew keeping from my attena from extending, cig lighter, interioiur lights and mirrors from working, i plugged in a new fuse and messed with everything in the circuit one by one until it blew(my cig lighter) and then i replaced the trouble maker and havent had a problem since
