steering column change, no start

89' Firebird -
So i had a very bad steering column and i changed it but now with the vats system i cant get it to start (i'm guessing). i am getting it to crank but no spark or fuel.
I don't have my old steering column anymore so i cant rob parts from that. i have seen the painless box you can buy but i'm not sure on where it goes or if that's what i really need.
Any help would be very appreciated!

Thank you

The loss of spark is unrelated to vats. You might have a bad ignition switch. Or misadjusted switch. The pink wire at your ignition coil gets power with the Leo on, cranking and running. The loss of injector pulse could be vats but you need to get spark/ power to the ignition system first.

I can’t find a good schematic on the power to the ignition coil. It does pass through the body connector c100 by the master cylinder . Pin f4
