Electrics nightmare

Ok guys, not giving up on Ole Blue just yet. Here's the skinny...
89 IROC 5.7, just replaced fuel pump bc was not getting fuel to rail, as well as replaced relay & pigtail connector; relay with smoked and the connector was way past its prime, wires wouldn't even stay in. After finishing this I was positive vibe matter licked, she fired up that had an erratic idle so I tested the TPS, and ended up replacing it. Now here's where it gets interesting. After installing the new TPS I've started blowing ACC fuses, it would spark pretty good when I plug the fuse in and as soon as I turn the key the fuse would blow. I found a pretty significant short in the cigarette lighter which I unplugged and I'm not blowing the ACC fuse anymore. But my problem ever since I put the new TPS on is that it would never start up again fuel pump will not kick on I couldn't hear it Prime All That Jazz. I am wondering what the hell has happened. I mean is it possible that I burned up a brand new pump just starting it two or three times with that short.? Some peripheral issues I'm having our that turn signals will not work, gauge cluster does not work, headlights on high&dim work, no on fog lights, hazards work and that's the only time that the blinkers will blank is with the hazards on, radio works now that I took care of the cig lighter, i cannot get the back hatch to latch and pull down to lock. The door locks do not work. Now I've heard people talking about this inline fuse in the orange wire leading from the relay to the battery, but I do not have one I've looked everywhere there is not one in-line anywhere in my wiring.
I guess I'm just looking for some suggestions because I've I've been seeking out the grounds and so far what I found have been excellent I mean this car is rust free so all the grounds are perfect in any connectors in the harness I can see aren't fried or singed no broken wires I just have no clue what's going on.
this iroc has the locking hatch in the usual space for the t-tops yo sit I think, it has the Bose speakers I think, maybe infinity,???
I just need some direction I've been up for two days working on this thing and I am beat. Thanks in advance for any help or ideas even of what it could be just some things I could look at to see what's up

Several questions there, the important one being the fuel pump.

Repost the minor questions after the pump is fixed.

Odds are near zero you did not burn out the pump.

To verify, jump, thru a 10 amp fuse, the
orange wire to the green wire with the
White stripe on the pump relay.

Did the pump prime when you did that?
