HID conversion
Hi everyone,
Sorry for the post I've been googling for the past 2 hours and everyone had an adapter. But to what this post is about. I purchased the HID conversion for my headlights from Hawks for my 86 iroc. Since the factory plug is 3 wire and the new HID is 2 wire they came like this.
[ _ I] (sorry for the crappy illustration)
But when plugged in like this they dont work at all. I flipped the plug at the ballast and they will flicker and turn off.
I flipped the plug back at the ballast where it had the locking tab and swapped the pin out too

this and they work. However they wont stay on with the high beams now.
is wiring it like this OK for the wiring, meaning it wont burn anything up and is it normal for the low beams not to work when the high beams are on with the conversion?
Thanks
