383 stoker alternator
Hi everyone.
I'm looking to replace my alternator. I just don't know what one to get. I don't know too much
about cars so I'd like to get the right one. I've got a 383 stocker engine. I'm going to be buying a new battery here soon. So I thought a new alternator would be nice as well.
Does anyone have a similar or same engine? What kind of alternator do you have with it? Also I would love help with what "amp" and "wires" mean when referring to alternators. Thanks!

When I had my 383, I replaced w factory style remanuctured units. They were fine.
