MORE FUN WITH VATS 🙄
MORE FUN WITH VATS 🙄
I installed the correct resistor under the dash to eleminate the problem being the contacts in the lock cylinder, still the damn car wants to play games and do nothing when I turn the key every once in a while. I’m really getting fed up with this crap. It will be fine for months, then decide it wants to do nothing and leave me sitting for 15-30 minutes until it decides to start again. If I let it sit for 15 minutes or sometimes longer it will start up again and be fine until the next time it wants to do this.
Any suggestions...asides from throwing a grenade under it and buying a 1950’s or 60’s car?

You might want to replace the enable relay. Or remove the kick panel and test to see if the passkey is grounding the relay when this occurs.

Just install a chip with the VATS disabled. Cost is like $75 or less from a variety of sources. You can have other things changed to suit your needs at the same time. Then jumper out the starter enable relay. Gone forever. This takes no more than 15 minutes.
