It sounds like something in the blower motor wiring a wire is grounding out. How long does it take for the fuse to blow? If instantaneous then it is definitely something grounding out. Does it pop fuses at every fan speed?

It will run for quite a while before it blows. I don't think it's shorting out anywhere because it takes a while for the fuse to pop. I've been trying to igure out exactly when it blows, but haven't figured it out yet. It seems to be going every third or fourth time i start the car or somewhere between the time i shut it off ( the car) and restart it. I put a new motor in it, checked the resistors in the circuit, and they were fine. This leads me to believe that there must be something wrong with the switch because thats the only other thing in the circuit. any suggestions? thanx
