Hey yall! I know this thread is old but I'm hoping you can help me out. I have no plans (or hopes) of having to rebuild the c100 connector, however! The pins throughout entire engine bay side of the connector have a weird amount of continuity to each other. Some of the pins have continuity to the positive and negative battery cables. I'm almost half decent at automotive electrical but I'm beyond confused. If you have any suggestions, anything could help!

My vehicle is a 1984 firebird base model that I LS swapped. I've had it running and driving but without gauges because I need to repin for '86 gauges. I was figuring out which pins were which when I realized that almost all of them had continuity with each other!

Don't know why individual pins would have continuity with each other. You don't need to re-pin the C100 for the later model gauges. Just re-pin the C1 and C2 connectors behind the instrument panel as necessary...

are the bulkheads identical across all thirdgen platforms? i pulled a wiring diagram but the wires dont seem to match up color wise. i need the diagram for a 91 tbi engine. anyone know where to find it?

Everything on the car ultimately is tied back to battery positive and negative. You're going to see continuity between circuits if the circuits are not somehow separated between your test points.
