I installed an active subwoofer on my 86 Iroc. I hooked the positive wire for the sub into the fuse box where it says “ign”. One day I was driving and something went out. Now those “ign” ports on the fuse box are inactive along with my gauges. The gauge lights come on but no gauges. Also the ding sound for if you leave the keys in or leave lights on is sounding constantly when I turn on the headlights. Whag blew causing these electrocnics to do this?

 

Idk what an active sub is but running it to the fuse box doesn’t seem like a good idea. Any amp I’ve ever seen needs a good sized cable ran straight to the battery. You probably need a fuse box.
