Instrument Cluster Lighting
Hey third geners. First off want to thank all the people who helped me on my Tach problem. So I figured if I am taking cluster out, some of the lights are dim in cluster so i am going to change. Wondering if they are different size bulbs in back of it. Want to go LED but maintain the stock color. Saw some on Ebay but am wondering what you guys think. Thanks

If you use the search feature in this (Electronics) and possibly the interior section as well for cluster or instrument lighting options you will discover a huge amount of threads with info covering your questions

I wouldn't trust LED's from ebay. Go to superbrightleds.com, I have used them for years. 194 is probably the bulb size you want and they have them in many colors. Remove cluster first to verify and verify how many you need. It's not necessary to replace the blinker and brights indicators because they are usually bright enough.

Sylvania has some nice 194 size LED in yellow(also white, red and blue) single chip with a diffuser cap, they fit same space as a 194.You probably will need to get some bulb sockets as GM was using one piece bulb/sockets in the early 1990s
