brake stop lights not working
ok so I've read about ninety posts on brake lights failure. my brake lights just quit working. I've checked out fuses, and the brake switch, they seem to be ok... although it would be good to know more about the switch itself... such as when the pedal is up not depressed are the contacts closed or open.... there are two sets of wires attached to the switch,,, one has a org and wht wire and the other has two light blue wires... there is power at the org wire and when the switch is depressed no pwr to the wht wire... when the switch is relaxed or the pedal is pressed the pwr is present at the org and wht wire in the one connection and nothing in either position on the other connection w/ the light blue wires.... all other lights work.... I've read about possible turn signal switch being the culprit but most state it's the brake light switch on the pedal arm.... ok so can anyone tell me about the switch a bit more.... this car does not have the third light... thanks ,,, Doug

Brake Forsake
Use the diagram in post 2.
We assume you're new to reading diagrams so here is some info.
The brakelight switch is Normaly Open (N.O.)
It closes when you press the brake.
From your description it sounds like the switch is bad.

Headlight Blunders By Designers #93; HID (short for hideous) lamps contain a glare causing blue, which is easy to filter, so they should have.
