Checked the fuse?
The brake light switch has 2 wires; white and orange.
One of them has battery on it (orange I think); the other gets battery when you push the brake pedal.
That 12V goes up into the steering column, and gets manipulated by the turn signal switch, and sent to the individual bulbs according to whether that turn signal or the hazard flasher is active.
Meanwhile, the 3rd brake light is driven DIRECTLY off of the switch "ouput", before the TSS. Does it work?

Have you checked to see if the light blub sockets are getting power?
If so and they do check the bulbs, if they are good you have a bad ground.
If you have no power to your brake lights, check your fuses first. If they are good, check the wires on the brake light switch as was already said one should be hot all the time.
Make sure that wire is getting power. Then check to see that you have continuity thru the brake switch with the brakes applied. If not the switch is bad. (yes new parts can be bad) If you have power to the switch and continuity thru the switch, then you have a bad connection at the switch or a bad wire.
