My wipers only work when I hold the switch in the WASH position.... Its a 86 Z28. I have no hi or low or even delay. What is the possible cause for this? Bad motor? Also, there is no Park either, they just stop when I let go of the wash lever. TIA.

 

Had the exact same issue last year on an 87 Trans Am. Turned out it was a faulty wiper switch, the thing inside the column. Was not the lever and not the motor. Maybe you have the same problem.

 

I figured as much. Changed the lever already, guess Ill have to bite the bullet.
