What’s this relay?
Behind passenger dash to the left of the ecm. Orange wire goes to fuse box pink wire just dangling. I’ve been through a bunch of posts and wiring diagrams and can’t figure it out. New to group, let me know if I’m not doing this correctly. Thanks

Power antenna relay? It doesn't have the antenna wires connected so either no power antenna or its not hooked up.

Re: What’s this relay?
Not a relay.
A relay has a coil with 2 terminals, and at least one set of contacts, each of which has at least 2 terminals. It's not impossible that the coil and a simple set of contacts could share one wire, which means that the minimum # of wires going to a relay would be 3.
Unless of course someone has had their dykes in there, and there's another wire we can't see, cut off.
Butt no matter what, those wires aren't the right colors for power antenna. And the PA relay has 5 wires... Acc & radio on/off to the coil; batt, up, & down to the motor. So, not that.
You need to get that bucket of wire nuts as far away from that car as you can. NOW.

Re: What’s this relay?
I missed that. Definitely get rid of household nuts. Those butt connectors are a step up but no good. Solder and heatshrink or tape all connections. The relay looks like its missing the connector with 3 wires that go into the power antenna motor if equipped. What else could use a big relay on passenger side of dash?
Re: What’s this relay?
That's the power antenna relay. There's only two wires because the other harness (the one that goes tot the power antenna) is unplugged. Pink is the radio power signal, orange is power.
Oh, and that black wire with the brass ring terminal that's cut off, that used to be the power antenna ground.

It IS a Power Antenna relay,... the same one was used on all Thirdgens. There are 3 wires on that Power antenna relay, PINK ( switched Power), ORANGE (full time power) and BLACK (ground). The black wire and it's "EYE" terminal is clearly visible in the pic posted.

Re: What’s this relay?
sofakingdom - the bucket of wire caps were radio connections. I’m saving for household use.
2knight - I’m a big fan of heat shrink myself. The butt connectors are all over, many are poorly crimped and then there are quite a few of the crimped wire taps like an inch from the fuse. Some of these are tapped onto another tap.
Ive been making my way through trying to figure out what goes where and remove the nonsense so it is all straightforward and securely connected. There have been numerous stripped wires just laying around.
So thanks for lookout👍, as the prior owner could have definitely used some guidance and saved me a lot of work.
