connection or what?
I've been troubleshooting on the 87 IROC I bought for a couple of weekends now and I think I'm on to something. I got it to start a couple of times and then it quit. Powered up the fuel pump and it worked as it should. Couldn't find any issue with the relay except there was no power to it, checked the inline fuse and it was fine. While I was messing around, I wiggled the wire that the inline fuse is on and heard the relay click and the fuel pump kick on. I found that I can move that wire around and make it run or kill the engine if it's running. I can't see any problem with the wires but I don't know what the black plastic cylindrical thing is that the wires go in and come out of. Is it just a wire junction? If so, I think I may have a loose or partly broken wire inside it.

Re: connection or what?
A picture would help. Sounds like a broken wire or corrosion in the weather pak connector.
