Hi looking for help on my Chevy, I ben slowly redoing. I owned her 20 years. I had motor rebuilt, but kept the original distributor, nothing wrong with it. Garage said it was off a 1979? How do I tell If its the original? I Never changed it, and he slapped a 79 carb on? I always bought parts for a 1984, 305? cap. module, coil, Etc. Need some help, no points. But need to know the difference. Everything was hooked up and working now its a MESS.
