My car is an '83 TA, I'm the original owner, about 61K easy miles. My 3 year old grandson has been staying with us through the virus thing and likes to play in the cars - pushing all the buttons and the like. Well, my pop up headlights were working fine, but after some fairly rapid toggling of the headlight switch by the aforementioned inquisitive grandson, the passenger side pop up no longer does. Headlight comes on, but no movement. I took the assembly out today - the harness connections to what I assume are the relay were super gunky with some petrified grease or some other nasty substance, maybe that should be expected on a 37 year old car. In any case...

Any suggestions or good advice about diagnosing this? I have a Haynes for the car but don't have the FSM.
