Digital Dash odometer chip repair?

Axle/Gears: 12 Bolt Rear 3.73
Digital Dash odometer chip repair?
So the digital dash odometer in my firebird has this issue where it displays like normal for 30 seconds then the lcd screen goes blank. I think maybe there is a capacitor problem or something. Where would one take the odometer chip to be checked if there is a bad capacitor or resistor?
