Removing old auto alarm system
So my gta has a UNGO TL-1450 auto alarm system. When unlocking my power door locks using the power lock button it sounds the siren for a brief second. I do not like this and want to remove it. Is there any special procedure for removing these old alarm system? Or can I just disconnect all the wiring going to it and wrap them up?

One other thing; when you're ready to start splicing wiring back together, don't use Scotchlok connectors; solder the wires and cover the connections with heat-shrink tubing.

If you aren't experienced in car electrical system wiring, your best first step would be to try to obtain a copy of the installation instructions for that unit. Knowing what circuits were cut/modified will make restoring the wiring back to stock much easier.

Re: Removing old auto alarm system
I would get the factory service manual instead, that will be better for understanding what is in the car.
I would say most alarms are just some sort of starter interlock system with other features, like lights activation and maybe the horn. Have you started looking at the alarm system? Mine has wire descriptions so you can know what it is connected to, you might get lucky there
If you have to splice wires, use non insulated butt connectors with adhesive lined heat shrink, faster/easier/better than soldering
