All relays not getting ground/ dead ECU?
Hello all, hope the big brain operators can give me info,
I have a 92 3.1 v6 camaro i swapped a 350 carbed into, so i no longer used the comp for alot of things.
but about a couple months after the swap alot of stuff just died. my AC, fans and fuel pump relays stopped getting a ground from the ECU,
and even my radio sleep mode stop so now it kills my bat by being on all the time. By checking the diagrams, all my relays get ground triggered via the
"powertrain control module" and its just not giving a ground anymore. Worked fine for a few months, then up and died. hence why i dont think i have a missing ground,
or else it wouldnt have worked at all after the swap. the holley sniper is not ground triggering my fan relay, and its own build in fuel relay removes mine, but my AC relay is
still not getting a ground trigger and the sniper wont do it. When i ground the relay my self, the comp cycles fine and AC works as it should. Should i ground it to the body?
Are theses signs of a dead ECU? Does anyone know what would cause all 3 relays to no longer get their grounds all at once when they should be by the comp other then
it just up and dying? Thanks for any info

Confirmed all the grounds into the ECM with meter, they are good. rang out the wire from fuel pump to ECM, good. EMC is NOT giving a ground out of the unit. confirmed dead ECM?

If your test were done properly... Then yes, most likely the ECM has in internal open and/ or shorted circuit.
