i have bought 2 shift lights over 4,5 years and never EVER had the thing work when its supposed to,, the things are junk,, one was $60 one was $199 and both were junk.
who make a reliable unit that comes on when it should. i have $250.

No idea. I have the summit shift light, and I am sure it is a re-branded chineese version. Mine does well.

i have one and its pretty basic...i need next kevel.as when at the strip i am not used to having to watch it while the car is doing its thing.especially wheelspin or getting it movin.i am focas on not changing lanes on gear shanges. I never see the light come on

I don't even use a tach, or watch it.
I program the shift light, and use it to shift at the track.
Super bright and accurate.

The Engine creates enough vibration, that I had to use a small "blop" of rubber-cement, to hold the **** in place.
I have only had to raise the Shift-Light RPM once...
Peel the "blop" off, and then replace the 'blop".
