I am sorry...

I have been trying to stay away from Threads and Posts, that do not make plausible or logical sense in my mind...
or when the OP appears to not have put in the time, to research their own issue...
expecting someone else to put in the time for them.

Anyway, you Posted that your Vehicle has Set GM-OBD/ OBD-1 Diagnostic Trouble Code #53.

I do not know what type of Vehicle you have.
I do not know what the Power-Train in your Vehicle is.
I do not know which method was used to read the GM ALDL Data-Stream.

I do not know what the Three Fuel-Circuit Wires above the Fuel-Tanks/ the Prime-Line Voltages have to do with anything.

If you would be so kind, as to please Post a description of the issue, in which you/ your Vehicle is experiencing.
Or if you are to say, all seems to be in order...
However, the "Service Engine Soon" Indicator-Light is illuminated, and the PCM has reported a Diagnostic Trouble Code...
Which is GM-OBD/ OBD-1 Diagnostic Trouble Code #53.

GM-OBD/ OBD-1 Diagnostic Trouble Code #53 is defined as: "PCM/ System Over-Voltage".
DTC 53 will Set if the PCM Ignition Voltage sensing Circuit experiences or surpasses a Voltage of 17.2000V for a minimum of 2.00 to 3.00 seconds.

Most of the time, when this DTC is Set currently...
The Alternator/ Generator output should be inspected and tested.

Good luck and have fun!
