Hey all ok so I have a 91 RS I'm in the process of putting back together after paint job , I believe the turn signals have a bad connection , I recently fixed a problem with the running lights staying on I was stumped figured it out was a break pedal switch was out of adjustment , while searching for problem I dropped steering column, pulled gauge cluster and replaced headlight switch anyways I put it all back together and everything works except turn signals , checked fuses fine, they did start working briefly so I believe I have a bad connection what wires should I check under driver's side dash? Or someone point me to a good wiring diagram I've looked haven't found anything real helpful thanks!

 

Do your hazards work? If so, try swapping the little round blinker module with the turn signal one to test if it's just the module itself.

 

Yep I swapped the flashers around that didn't fix it . I noticed when I pulled on the wiring under the steering column that runs up the turn signals started working but no hazard lights then they stopped working again , I'm starting to think the turn signal switch is faulty the one that you half to take the steering wheel off and take the column apart to replace and it's a pain from what I've seen but I'm thinking that is where the problem is.

 

Hey guys, just had this issue on my 1990 Camaro RS V6. Left blinker is not working, staying lit. When try to turn on headlight (low or high beam), none turns on on the left. Right is fine. Also, odd part is the blinker light that was on with the engine running, turns off when trying on headlights. Hazard light works fine. Right blinker works fine. Something is wrong on left side. Also, the windshield wiper stopped working at the same time. Will take to mechanics, but thought someone may have experienced the same issue. Thanks.
