Fuel Pump Fuse Keeps Blowing
So I’ve looked and looked at all the forums regarding peoples fuel pump fuse blowing constantly and I haven’t been able to find anyone in the same scenario I’m in. My 86’ Z28 has the lb9 engine and Ive changed the fuel pump relay and pigtail and have gone through all the wiring and found nothing wrong, but every time I put a new fuel pump fuse in and connect the battery it immediately blows. I am completely stumped by this problem and am wondering if it could even be the wire that’s corroded from the inside causing to much resistance. Has anyone Had this happen?

Try unplugging the ecm and a new fuse, that fuels powers fuel pump and ecm.

I’ve done that and I don’t think its the ecm as the fuse only blows when the relay is plugged in no matter if the ecm is connected or not.
I totally forgot to mention it only blows when the relay is connected.
