Engine: 377 AFR195 750DP Solid cam 10.25:1
Transmission: TH/350 3200 stall spohn conversion
Axle/Gears: 10 bolt 3.42:1 Eaton Trutrac.
Which wire is Tach on HEI

which wire is tach on HEI

My HEI has a brown plug and a white plug.. which one do i leave off to dis connect the tach for a trial run.

i just had a new tach put in the car and its got ignition problem now.
tach reads correct.
i want to unplug it and start the car.

please no tach advice.

The color of the connector is irrelevant. Most V-8 models have a white wire for the tach, while V-6 models had a black wire.
The pink wire must be connected for the ignition to work...

Ok its the White .. actually i was refering to the plug on the connector one is brown , one is white.
