Working on the wiring connections for my FITech ECU and there’s a wire that needs to have 12v when the brake is NOT applied and zero voltage when the brake IS applied. I have the factory wiring diagrams for the brake switch but not sure which wire is the right one to connect to. Would I connect this wire to the purple wire that goes to the tranny?
Just following up as I figured this out. My brake switch had two connectors on it. One controlled the brake lights and the other worked the torque converter clutch. I removed the purple wire to the tq clutch and connected this to the FITech yellow wire for the TCC brake. This provides the correct signal for the ECU. Score!

To clarify,
the factory purple cable is removed from the brake switch, and this purple cable is connected to the brake switch cable from the fitech ecm?,
or,
the factory purple cable is removed from the brake switch, put it aside, and connect the brake switch cable from the fitech ecm to the brake switch where the purple cable was connected?
