Wiper failure help

My 88 GTA's wipers do not work anymore. Everything else on the multi function lever switch works washer control, cruise control, both blinkers just the wipers won't move. Fuse is good because It shares with the washer and it works. So what is the next thing that usually is the issue?
does my 88 have a wiper relay or is everything in the motor?

Re: Wiper failure help

Anyone have any help on this problem? I'm not trying to spend $200+ on a pulse wiper relay if that is not the problem

Re: Wiper failure help

Have you removed the black cover on the wiper motor? Usual culprits, park switch, cracked circuit board/bad capacitor/s or that blue wheel/arm inside the cover. I believe the relay is built in to the wiper motor cover C.B.

Removed the wiper motor cover. It all looks good. No broken pieces or cracks. I also checked the power at the harness and it does have power.

Car: Yes
Engine: Usually
Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
Re: Wiper failure help

Motor housing ground probably failed

Run a ground wire from a screw on the motor proper, to the firewall
