Ok so I have purchased a new radiator/fan setup but before installing I wanted to figure out why the existing system wasn't working. Anyway I found that the previous owner installed a switch for the fan that is faulty. That will be resolved when I install the new system triggered by the temp sensor in the radiator. While looking around I found this:
Ok so it would seem that one of these wires is cut. Also the yellow wire is not connected to anything. Third the grounds around this area need cleaning etc. So my question is does anyone know what these wires are for and do they connect? I have a feeling this could be why some electronics work in the car and some don't but I could be wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The red one is a main line that hooks to the battery positive. It has a fuse link. Should definitely not be cut
Thank you so I need to reconnect it with fusible link wire. Hope I am saying that right. So any clue about the one that is yellow?
Well! I can't say anything about reconnecting because I have no clue what kind of hacking job could have been done on your car. What I am saying is, in OEM form, the red wire is a main line with a fuse link (the black shape rounded plastic thing). If you track the red it should be connecting indirectly to the positive red on your battery. If nothing has been hacked, the red wire should be fixed.
I am not sure about the yellow. It looks like it is splitting off the fuse link. Try tracking it. Could be fans not sure.
Ok well thank you for that. I hate hack jobs because no one knows what you have done after the fact. Anyway I will have to work through this....I already had to figure out some ignition hack that had been done. I think I will see if I can spot a yellow wire hanging loose some where but I don't remember seeing it last time.
Ok so I still didn't figure it out. While checking out the fuses I realized I do have power locks but not windows. I thought the lock buttons were just for show. The important thing is I figured out how to wire the fan on to get her home safely.
