flashing problem

Google translate: Hello everyone, I have a problem on my camaro, when I use the turn signals without the headlights no problem... When I turn on the hazard lights everything works fine. But when I have the night lights or headlights on, the turn signals are fixed, nothing flashes... Alerts work normally... Thank you for your help, sorry I'm French, and I use google translate

Gee, , when I read "Flashing Problem" this is what came to mind......

But seriously, from your description I'd be checking the grounds in the headlight area.

Re: flashing problem

If the Signal Filaments (Brighter of the Two 1157 Filaments) illuminate and operate when the Parking-Lamp Filaments (Dimmer of the Two 1157 Filaments) are OFF...

Often the Wrong Bulbs have been installed, Wrong Sockets have been installed, the Bulb Polarity is reversed or only one Contact is making contact...
If something was rewired, the wiring could be wrong.
If a flasher or Load-Resistor has been changed, they could be incorrect.

Good morning; I haven't changed anything, bulb lights, identical wiring...
I just took the car apart for painting...

Hi bigjim08,

You haven't said what year your car is, but then again I'm not sure if the headlight ground location changed during the 1982/1992 run of these cars. I have here a generic headlight ground pic that I shamelessly swiped from some website or other, you'd be looking for a couple of black wires (one fatter, one skinnier) bolted to the metal next to the radiator like shown here. There are two, one on the driver's side and one on the passenger's side. This isn't an exact third gen pic, it's the only handy headlight ground pic I found, but should give a good idea of what to look for
