90-92 instrument clusters
Will any 90-92 cluster operate in any 90-92 car? I see some have L-H instead of numbers for oil pressure. I have VIN E car, will any yellow 110mph cluster with numbers on oil pressure work? Or are there calibration differences with V6 vs V8 cars or A/T vs M/T cars?
Speedo my main concern - from schematics looks like speedo gets same 4000 ppm input from either the buffer (VIN E cars) or ECM (VIN T, 8, F cars).
My speedo dead - replaced resistor & capacitor on daughter board, worked great few days then saw it drop to zero while driving & it never came back. VSS & buffer test fine so I'm back to speedo issue. Can maybe replace whole cluster cheaper than having daughter board professionally repaired.
