Best Wiring Heat Protection?

Hey guys,

My passenger header keeps slowly melting my wire loom that dives down in the corner to the starter. Any one know of some good looking thermal tape, thermal looms, or something similar they've used in the past that would be a good fit for this? I was thinking the following but the gold/silver is pretty loud... wanted it to be more subtle.

Re: Best Wiring Heat Protection?

Would a metal heat shield used to keep exhaust manifold off the starter help? Had to add a shield that attaches to the block to protect the starter from excess heat on my 1981 Cutlass.
