Air intake connection
Hi everyone - I am back on the IROC and have a question I cannot find an answer to. On my stock air intake there is a sensor that my car does not have a harness to plug into? I have included a picture. Appreciate the help. Thanks.

Re: Air intake connection
You are right! Problem solved. The car was never in an accident and PO had the car for over 21 years. Mmm, maybe they had another intake on it and he bought this one when he sold it. The car was never in a wreck I checked it out good.
Thank you sir.
Thank you sir.

Re: Air intake connection
I'd use that sensor in the air duct. ( just my !)
The TPI sensor is mounted to the Plenum where the incoming air is warmer due to it's position mounted on the motor. ( screwed into a thick piece of aluminum) The readings taken at the very front of the air ducts ( sensor screwed into plastic ) *should* be a little colder; AKA more accurate.
You'd just need to cut the plug off the harness and add some wire and reconnect the plug so it will reach all the way to the new sensor location.
