How hard to install 86 digital dash in a 88?

Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.77
How hard to install 86 digital dash in a 88?
How hard would it be to install a 1986 with a 305 digital dash cluster in a 1988 trans am gta with a 350 and aftermarket 373 gears that is currently analog but originally had a digital dash in its life? I keep reading that the speedometer is going to be a huge problem
the reason I know it had a digital dash at one time is because the DIC wires are still in the doors.
