Horn testing

Hello all, I tried to search this on the forum but if it is on there it's lost in the sea of info, but I am looking for the process of testing my horns with a volt meter.

I've traced my blowing fuse problem in that direction and would like to confirm my suspicions.

Thanks!

Re: Horn testing

Easiest way to determine if it's the horn themselves is to disconnect the connector from each horn individually, and with a good fuse in place, press the horn button and see if the fuse blows. If the fuse blows with the horns disconnected, the horns should be fine and your short is further up the line.
