has any1 had this problem before? every time I try to plug something in it just blows my acc fuse. im thinking its a bad ground connection. does any1 have any idea of where these things are usually grounded? or have any other suggestions to try?

 

Common problem. A search will provide more info. Replacing the cigarette lighter is usually the fix.

First thing i would check is make sure you dont have a penny stuck in there thats what happened to mine lmao

@ fervernt: im pretty sure there are no pennys in there haha I keep my change in my ashtray like normal people!!!

 

im gonna try a couple different things to it before replacing it, ill post my findings in about a week or 2 when I get back from a trip

 

tried cleaning off some of the oxidation with some steel wool and a wire brush. didn't blow the fuse immediately but about 2 minutes in I wiggles my charger and the fuse blew. gonna keep trying, got a whole box of fuses!!!
