Hi guys. I’m new here. I’ve got this project 83’ Firebird Trans Am Crossfire. What do these two random connections go?? They are located at the passenger front of the engine bay. Thanks yall!!
The red/pink/whatever/HOUSE wire looks like it was spliced into a section of the factory wire that probably supplied power to the ECM. Would have originally connected to a pigtail that was part of the + batt cable. Nothing important; just, without it, the ignition and injectors won't work. Might want to clean that pile of excrement up with the right kind of wire, some rosin-core (electronic, NOT plumbing) solder, heat shrink tubing, and tape.
There's abuncha SERIOUSLY challenged wiring all in that car. Looks to me like you'll be heavily practicing your newfound skillz in that area real soon.
