1987 Iroc-z. What is this wire?

Hello I found a connector between my wiper motor and the distributor, I looked all around this area and couldn't find any place where it would plug in. Does anybody know what this is meant to go into? I already double checked the wiper motor connections and they're both plugged in at the top and the bottom.

As repeatedly and endlessly posted on this site, if that's the usual one with a pink/blk and a blk/wht wire, it's the "mystery connector".

Those 2 circuits are ignition and ground for the engine's systems. Since that connector is never plugged into anything in any of these cars in any years with any engine or option combo, our best guess out here in customer land, is that it was used to power up the electronic control systems at some point in the engine construction, BEFORE it was installed into a vehicle, to be able to test the systems. Then once the engine had left the engine plant headed to the vehicle assembly plant, it had no further purpose.
