VSS speedo wire for 5 speed?

VSS speedo wire for 5 speed?

im about to wire a sgi-100bt i cent find any form telling me what color the speedo wire is and or where
scouring threads i find people going from the 700r4 to t56 but not t5 to t56. if i send power to wires is the gauge gonna move??
i hear its brown on c207, then i hear its actually purple off the vss buffer, or yellow any help would be super appreciated

I went t5 to t56 using the sgi1000bt. What i did.....if i remember correctly, is elminated the vss buffer box, and put the sgi box in place. wiring was fairly simple. I believe the wiring coming off the vss are yellow and purple. check out the link below it may help you.

and thats coming off the buffer box? i need the gauge cluster wire "output 4"

Here is how mine is wired up.  Not the clearest pic. But hopefully it can give you an idea.

the red and brown wire you have going in output5 are those the vss wires right out of the trans?? other than that SUPER helpful picture is worth a thousand words.
couldnt test it today becasuse the vss on my trans was broken right off

the yellow wire and purple wire coming from the transmission vss. The black with light green wire is going to the speedo which is output 4. The red and brown wire in output 5 is the ecm and cruise. If you look at the my 2nd post, the link that put in. It will show the yellow buffer box with all the wires and where they go.
