Pulling to much and not shorting ?
The way I have my system set up is as follows
5 Gauge ( I think ) from the battery, into a 40 amp fuse, then to back of car and it splits to CD Changer, inverter, Playstation 2, and my amp.
cd changer, and amp have fuses, inverter does to ps2 doesnt but its power comes from the inverter.
NOW in the past 2 weeks I have blows that 40 amp fuse in the main line 4 times, but havent blown any of the ones in each thing.
I put in a 60 and crossed my fingers nothing ignited on me
and it hasnt blown yet tonight, was I just pulling to much, is it ok with the 60 in it.

You could add up the amp ratings for each of the accessories and see if they total near the 40 amp. fuse, you could find the amperage of each seperate fuse minus 10 or 15 % and add them together to see what you get.
