My foglights have never worked since i had my car. i dont have a clue why. i know the fuse is good. i dont see anything wrong with the switch or bulbs, but then again, dont really know what to look for. i dont have any of these testers or electric equipment. how can i find out whats wrong with my foglights?

 

i know this from installing my fogs, i don't know if yours are stock and came with the car but i figure it would be the same thing.

No.1 Are your fog lights properly grounded out? there will be a black wirecoming out of one of the fogs, make sure it is touching metal "the frame of the car" if thats checked, follow the ires intot he car, i don't know if the stock ones have a relay but if they do there will be another black ground wire, see if that is properly grounded out.

No2. Are your bulbs just burnt out, take off the lenses and see if the bulbs are burnt.

No.3 Is everything properly wired? check all of the wiring thats coming out of the fogs to see if the wiring is ok.

if all else fails just buy a fog light kit. blazer makes a foglight kit that looks just like the stock fogs, they come with all the wiring and switch "or hook them up to your driving lights" for only 17-20 bucks.

why pay for a 60 dollar replacment gm fogs, when you can get an entier identical kit for 17, your move buddy.
