I have a similar problem, but they go down if i push on the button hard. I have changed the switch but it still does it. I have no idea what could be wrong.

Are you refering to mtccl or me? Could my problem be a syptom of a bad modulator also?

Interesting.... I have Omega's problem too. I've never messed with it though since it isn't really a big problem at this point. I just figured I had some bad contacts in the switch. Maybe that's not so though, since a new switch didn't fix it for you.
All of you who have this modulator, open the hood with the lights in the offending position and press on the front of the modulator. For instance, if your lights stay up after you turn the switch off, press on the modulator body. See if the lights go down. If they do then it is your modulator. The contacts inside go bad. Good Luck!!
