Cig. Lighter stopped working???
Hey Guys,
When I plugged my new radar detector in today it didn't chime and light up....so I unplugged it and tried again....still nothing. I tried my cell phone charger.....nothing either. I charged my phone up yesterday using it....it worked fine. What happened, and how do I fix it??? Thanks a lot guys....

Cigarette lighter went bad. It happens. First, remove it and check to make sure that the wires are still connected. There should be two wires, one power, and one ground. If they are, you probably just need to replace the lighter assembly. Almost forgot, check the fuse! They are pretty cheap at the parts store. Also, if the fuse is good and the wires are connected, it could just be dirty. Clean it and see what happens.
