Borg Warner 9 Bolt 3 Series POSI Carrier. $150 + shipping. Originally had 3.27 gears installed and the complete rear end was previously installed/driven in my old 86 Z28 for a couple years.

Here's the story: 3.27 rear removed & 86 Z get's crushed. Had a 3.45 in my Berlinetta and the 3.27 on the ground. The 3.27 assembly was removed and replaced with new 3.70 and new carrier. 3.27 stuff goes in a box and the 370 rear is installed in my Berlinetta.

Never had a problem when the rear was installed in my 86 Z. Had to pull the complete rear from that car due to heavy rot to the body under the ground FX - it was scrapped.

I just replaced everything with new parts. New POSI, New Gears, New Bearings, 1LE Brakes, ect.... The POSI and gears have been stored since.

I can't guess to the Mileage. I can estimate that they have gotten about 25 thousand miles put on them in the last 10 years or so !

I got that rear end - used with unknown mileage - about 9-10 years ago. I installed it about a year later into my 86Z "at the time" and drove that car for a little over 3 years. The POSI and gearset have been stored together since that rear was completely rebuilt........ that was about 3 years ago.
